By the '80s, DW drums and full line of top-quality bass drum pedals and hi-hat stands had created a unique market position for the small American company. DW Drums were starting to attract attention throughout the drumming world, since than, company doubled its manufacturing space, for dw drums by moving to a new facility. In addition to expanding its dw drums product line, DW continues to create new drum concepts. The most notable addition to dw drums product line was the Timeless Timber, featuring 25th Anniversary Lake Superior Maple dw drums in 1997 and dw drums 30th anniversary Lake Superior Birch sets in 2002. Dw drums have continued this tradition by releasing rare woods as limited edition Private Reserve kits.
Dw drums lineup, currently include 4000, 5000, 7000, 8000, and 9000 series pedals; 5000, 6000, 8000 and 9000 series hardware, and a nearly infinite spectrum of drums that can be custom ordered in many unique combinations of wood, color, and size.

Collector's Series Dw Drums
Collector's Series by Dw Drums offer players a surefire way to sonically tailor and personalize their own signature drum sound. Starting from the highest grade hard rock maple and heartwood Birch, to customized variety of proprietary shell making technologies, designed to offer superior attack, resonance and tonality. Collector's Series Dw Drums offer virtually limitless array of custom exotic, Graphics, lacquer, Satin oil and Finish-ply offerings and four Dw Drums hardware color options.
Jazz Series Dw Drums
Jazz Series of Dw Drums represent the culmination of nearly 2 years of research and development from the Dw Custom Shell Shop in oxnard, California. In an effort to provide drummers with a wide palette of traditional American drum sounds, Dw craftsmen recreated the popular maple-Gum wood combination, which became a favorite in studios in the late '70s and early '80s. Back then, it was a challenge to create a more resonant, thin shell without compromising its integrity. With today's advanced shell manufacturing techniques, it's easier than ever. The 8-ply maple-Gum and die-cast counter hoops by Dw Drums, provide just the right amount of body, warmth and resonance for Jazz, studio and several other musical applications. Jazz Series of Dw Drums are available in any Collector's Series finish and drum hardware color. Jazz Series of Dw Drums offer a new universe of custom possibilities.
Classics Series Dw Drums
Dw Drums Classics series offer a solution that may be even better than the real vintage drum sound. With a specially configured poplar mahogany shell with 10-ply maple reinforcement hoops and a newly-designed "butter" bearing edge, Dw Drums Classics series provide players with a true vintage sound in a modern custom drum package. Dw Drums Classics series are offered in any Collector's Series Finish-ply and customizable with factory installed options such as retro bass drum t-rods, 7771 bass drum mounted cymbal arm and 770 rail mount. Dw Drums Classics series give players a true authentic American drum sound. |
