does this set have mesh heads? (Alesis DM5 Pro Electronic Drum Set)

hey...
i posted a different (rather long) post the other day and i guess i messed up (as it never showed up here)...
anyway, not enough time to type it all again now, but long and short, i'm interested in getting a e-kit (am moving from a silly littele DD-55)...
i tried a couple this past weekend (Yama. DTxplorer and RolandTD3? something)...
the snare on the Roland was mesh (i think) and it really felt good (as compared to the rubber of the DD-55 and the Yam.)...
so, i think i MIGHT want to go with a mesh headed set (though still not 100% sure)...
was scanning this eve and found some pics of:
Alesis DM5 Pro Electronic Drum Set
this set (and some of the Alesis sets) seem to have mesh heads, but i could not find anything in their write-ups about the type of heads...
can anyone comment?
thanks...

Regarding the DM5.. the heads on it are not mesh. They are more of a white rubber made to simulate a drum head. That being said, Alesis has released a lot of mesh kits lately. The Surge Mesh comes to mind.
I have read, though, that some of their kits tend to have problems, specifically with the hi-hat functionality.

I think they're a good option for a budget kit, but still can't beat Roland.
EDIT: Wow, I'm sorry to have dug up this old post. I didn't even see the date on it. Arrived from a google search.
