DRUMS!!! i play on a marine blue fade pearl session smx...i use remo roto toms on my set with remo ebony pinstripes on tops with remo control sound on the bottoms of the toms...i use stock pearl head on front and a powerstroke 3 bass head for beater...on my snare i use a remo clear pinstripe with a control sound on bottom of it...

If I’m going to play drums on a tour, i usually play a decent size kit. I have a 21 piece setup. DW drums with roto toms mounted. Paiste Cymbals and LP bongos. The reason is for range purposes. I’m a drummer from electric lady days before I became known for Bass. The music then was usually rock. That is mainly power srtoking. Im not the richest person ever so my weapon of choice right now is a verve vibemaster. it’s a decent set really except for the cymbals and heads, but i upgraded like mad. i use paiste cymbals. 13 hats, a 14” crash , a 16” crash and 18 crash/ride right now. evans heads. I just finished upgrading this set to where it’s actually really nice. so next comes effects cymbals and cowbells and stuff.

My kit is a Pearl Export EXR “Radical” kit (EXR 825HP in #430-Prizm Blue) with a mix and match of black and chrome hardware. All the shells are 6-ply (7.5mm) poplar, and I bought them basically because they were a very good deal. I use two kits depending on what i am doing- - I use a mapex pro m maple kit for anything rock or jazz, 12in rack, 14 and 16in floor toms, and a 22x16in kick.
