Great looking kit, Ken. I like the tom mounting system you've got here. I'll bet it sets up fairly quickly too.
Don it does set up fast. Since this picture was made I have removed the 8 x 12 tom that was mounted on the bass drum, and I am now using that bass drum mount for an internally mounted bass drum microphone. I have now mounted the 7 x 10 tom and the 8 x 12 tom on my left side stand with 17" and 19" crash cymbals. The right side stand holds an 11 x 14 tom, a 13 x 16 tom plus 19", 22", and 24" cymbals.
Both stands are assembled from off-the-shelf YAMAHA hardare. I have never had slipage or failure during a performance.
