I play Jazz, metal and orcastra.......
I'm torn between worlds here
rock and hip hop drumming is a joke for the most part but I'm not going to vote because those three definitly all kick ass

I like brass band drumming (which isent an option to vote for  Sad )

basically because you can move through alot of different styles, from orchestra type drumming (when playing test pieces). through to drum patterns while marching, to drumming to pieces such as elvis or even queen.  You can get a big variety!

i like to play everything but the hip-hop style. ive played all types of music (country, jazz, rock, metal, orchestral) but i agree...hip-hop is a joke.  way too simple...  rock can be complicated if you make it that way.(neil peart?)

Unfortunatly, the maximum choices we can put on polls is 5. But there so many different styles, that we would need 100's of poll choices to keep everyone happy.

Recently, Funk has been getting more and more into my drumming. Im starting to get very interested in it.
Im also getting into Latin beats with Cow bell combos kicking in at places in my beats.
A new addition to my kit is a Djembe that ive put behind my snare.

It's only Funk - Fusion for me and I'm saying that because it's music and grooves for open - minded musicians. What I do is taking african rythms from the 2 african rythm families and combining them with funk fusion grooves. Try it and you won't be dissapointed. But first you have to have a really good independence or these grooves will totally suck . . .
