hi im new at this fourm but i like what i see i just went out and got me a new set of drums never play before but i always like so i got a set but im having trouble tunnig them and ive been on the net looking and found what people are calling a drum dial shouled i get one or not? i know what it is its dial indicator yes. i use one at work .

depends on if you care how you sound to other people.
me, i tune them how i like, and if they don't like the sound if chosen, then they don't appriciate my genius!
Just kidding. To me, music is subjective, and unless you really are conscious of other people, don't worry about it. If you like the sound your drums are making, then you are happy. however, not having a good ear or tuning skills might be a reason to get one. Play around with them first, if you can't get it right, then go for it.
