In order to help you boost your numbers, ego and goals, here are some quick tips for how to get the best results from your online profile.

1. Write a unique and friendly introductory line.

2. Post at least two current photos: Photos significantly increase responses! Try at least one close-up and one with your drum/rig setup for the best results.

3. Use a positive tone.

4. Keep it simple: Keep your descriptions light and avoid demanding checklists in your essays.

5. Add your marketing pitch: What makes you unique? Try listing only couple things and make them catchy (everyone is outstanding, and fun - how are you different?)

6. Be confident versus boastful: When you show confidence in being you, it is the biggest turn-on. The trick is not to be boastful in your delivery.

7. Adjectives mean nothing.  Anyone can write a similar list: nice, smart, kind, warm, funny, honest, successful, ambitious. If I can write that, and you can write that, and your mom can write that, how are we any different? Turn those adjectives into anecdotes and your profile may actually sound different than every other well-intentioned adjective writer out there.
