Iron Maiden Snare

After listening to Wicker Man over and over again by Iron Maiden, I realized I WANT THAT SNARE SOUND!!  I have a pearl forum still with its pearl head on.  Does anyone know how to achieve the Wicker Man snare sound??  If you don't know what I'm talking about try Youtube or Itunes, because once you hear that snare you will agree with me

I haven't read anything about the recording of that album but I do know from the Rock in Rio DVD that was of course the tour for the album Brave New World, that Nicko used a snare with less depth than he normally does; maybe 5 inches. Also, it sounds a little cranked and Nicko uses the butt end of the stick and his sticks are pretty thick. You might want to email producer Kevin Shirley through his website and see if he remembers.
