Although I sometimes pick out stronger cymbals according to the perfromance requirements; these are my favorites to play Wink:

13” Paiste Signature Sound Edge Hi Hats
21” Paiste Signature Dark Full Ride
16” Paiste Signature Mellow Crash
18" Paiste Signature Full Crash

At 26 seconds into the clip it clearly shows they are Sabian AA cymbals.  I'm surprised you didn't see that.

Currently the 2 cymbals in my set up I'm sweetest on are my newest 16"MB20 medium heavy meinl crash and my 17 S series Wuhan crash. Both are really nice cymbals. Both have great visual appeal and although they sound different both bring nice explosice cutting sounds to my arsenal. I'd recomend both of these to anyone.

Paiste all round apart from Avedis 16" paper crash & Avedis 20" Ping Ride which came my way cheap.

Best of the crop Paiste 2002 14" hats and Paiste Giant Beat 20" Ride both circa 1972 that came with the Hayman Kit.

Never really forgave Zildjian for producing and selling a whole batch of warped hihats! although the ancient 15"ers I picked up are so good they've redeemed themselves.

Have a couple (though never used) monstrosities called Zyn. Never heard anything like them outside 1920's style dance bands where a cymbal makes maybe one appearance in the whole tune. Just awful, something like a cross between the worst china type you ever heard and a dinner gong.

I like the comment about the Zyns.  Never heard of them, but I intend to check them out for laughs.

I play on all Turkish, American made Zildjians, that were created pre-Z era, I intend to NEVER replace them.  As a matter of fact, they will be handed down to my Grandson.
