Sticking for the Son

I think the worst thing for a drummer (well for me anyway) is when you get to a point in keeping a beat where there is sometimes a slight variation in the tempo .. around 1-2 bpm .. normally during fills. Embarrassed It's not an obvious slowdown .. but you know that it is there, and the band does not pick it up .. but for me it means that I am not keeping a good "groove" ..

With this, I would like to get a metronome or the likes, that will provide me with a click via an earphone. Is this possible ? I haven't seen anything like that in South Africa :-?

i think most digital metronomes have earphone plugs on them.

Ive got a "Quick Time" metronome, and it has an ear phone plug. But you may want a more expensive metronome that has odd times aswell, just so your pepared for anything.
