Not sure if this has been covered before. I know everyone here are drum fanatics, but what do you do for a living and when your not behind the throne, what are your hobbies? I am a Union Pipefitter. Not the funnist job in the world, but the money is great and I'm looking for that retirement when I get there. On weekends I love taking my Jeep offroad when I get the chance and spending time with my kids. My 5 year old son has great beats and he is really getting into the drums now. Can't wait till he can reach the peddles on my set. Thats pretty much the story of my life. Love to hear from you.

I must say my biggest influence is Neil Peart. I'm sure alot of people are with me on that one. I can't remember the drummers name from Dream Theater, but the drumming on Pull me Under is just amazing. I play anything that comes to mind, usually my own stuff. It's nice to play along with the CD, but with these infringment suits all the time, I'm scared my nosey neighbor is gonna call on me everytime I shake her windows with some good old fashion Hot for Teacher

Ive always used Pro Mark 5A's or 747's. I love a light stick for rolls and rolling on the ride. Only broke a few pair maybe when playing Metallica songs, but I've learned loud isn't always better

I've played a remo kit. They are really nice! Very heavy, but really nice sound.

only problem is finding hardware for them. just gotta be extra careful

18 years!? - Thats a long time!! Shocked Shocked

18 long years. I got them for my 10th birthday, could barely reach the pedel, but I played them every hour after school until night.
