I also play a MIDI drumset ,in addition to the acoustic.Any others here?-and can you share some info,and pics?-I play an Alternate Mode Trapkat 3.0,steel chassis.It is awesome, 24 pads,2 bass drums,1 hat pedal.I use a ymaha motif sound module, along with a dtxpress for sequences.it only takes up a 4x4 foot square,and sounds great.Initially,I wanted it to use at rehearsals,but it was so good I gig with it too.

without trying to hijack the original thread,it is a custom rack for the rototoms with triggers,custom gong/MIDI rig rack also,custom riser.It is designed to play with ease,everything is easy to reach at speed,and it sounds great.
