Can anyone recommend a notation software pack that I can just elect to write on one or two lines of the stave?  I want to convert my handwritten exercises (which are mostly just snare and foot lines) to typed text.  I've looked at a couple of packages but they were both too complex and didn't allow for what I want to do.  cheers, paul.

Hi, I can't suggest a good software, mostly because I couldn't find one !

This is the reason why I'm developing my own software.

Can I ask you if you write exercises for your students or just for yourself ?

I'd be glad to use you as a beta-tester :-)

Hi,

Maybe this program might be useful.  It's cheap and you can try it out.
