I started playing drums at the age of four, not really getting a proper drum set till about the age of 5 or 6, a Ludwig gold sparkle kit probably from the 60’s. My first hero was Buddy Rich who I was fortunate enough to see play in concert twice, both times seeing Buddy play was a humbling experience; later influenced by the also late John Bonham as well as a lot of other drummers. Influenced by both rock and jazz drumming I try to play as diverse as my influences.
I have done a multitude of recording sessions with various artists. Currently I am working on a solo album “Ouija”, hopefully will be finish before the end of the year. For the past several years I have been playing for Swan Song, a tribute to Led Zeppelin doing mostly theater shows on the east coast. And just this year I was cast as the Drummer in Bridges to Quadrophenia a musical show featuring the music of the Rolling Stones and the Who, also doing theater show. Occasionally playing smaller clubs.
