Alex Bonacci began playing drums at the age of seven, then continued to study with Maurizio Dei Lazzaretti. He attended the Berklee Summer School where he had the pleasure to study with Ron Savage, Ken Cervenka and Matthew Nicholl and meet many great artists of all over the world. He attended several master-classes with different great musicians, such as: Jeff Berlin, Omar Hakim, Dave Weckl, JoJo Mayer, Pat Martino, Dennis Chambers, Miroslav Vitous, Furio Chirico, Kiko Loureiro, Daryl Lowery, etc. In 2005 he became the official drummer of the band called "Vincent" and won the Sanremo Rock Festival with them during the same year. Attending this event he had the chance to play on the same stage on which many famous musicians were playing (i.e. IAN PAICE - Deep Purple's drummer). The band is currently touring around Italy. He took part in many radio and television programs (RaiDue, RadioDue, Sky, etc.) and in many important music contests with different artists (Coca Cola contest, Premio Musicultura, Rock Targato Italia, etc.). He is also involved in the project "Renilin: OFFSIDE", produced by Renilin, with other ten artists of all over the world. At the moment he is working in other important projects too, such us Alessia D’Andrea (Ian Anderson, David Arch, Jethro Tull, Florian Opahle, Stephan Zeh, Steafan Hannigan, ecc.), Ivelina (Eurovision 2009 finalist) and Ivan Battistella (Tony Levin, Brian Ray, James Raymond, Roberto Diana, JP Cervoni, Simone Borghi, ecc.).
