In the same period it enters to belong to the D.O.M. (Democratic Orchestra Milan) with which engraves the first disk and it participates in the first European festivals, Grenoble 1982 and Shores de Gier 1983.
It is however with Nexus that makes him know first in Italy and, subsequently, in Europe, through the share to concerts, reviews and international festival: Milan, Cagliari, Clusone, Bolzano, Walnut-trees, Her Mans, Colony, Moers, Vienna, Vilshofen, Opeye, Mulhouse, Saarbrucken-St.Ingbert, Gent, Tampere, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Sant'Anna Arresi etc. In fifteen years of activity the group has seen the share of some among the most prestigious musicians in national field, realizing at the same time a series of important collaborations with musicians as Glenn Ferris, Mark Dresser, Herb Robertson. Nexus has produced to everything six record jobs that have all constantly gotten excellent comparisons today (all the disks have been included in the referendum Top Jazz to work of the magazine Music Jazz). In the second halves the years '80 begins a long series of collaborations with some of the most meaningful exponents of the new Italian jazz scene, among which Tiziana Ghiglioni, Gianluigi Trovesi, Roberto Ottaviano, Stephen Battaglia, Giancarlo Schiaffini, having at the same time the possibility to realize important meetings with Muhal Richard Abrams, Pierre Favre, David Friedman, Dave Liebman, Jean Jacques Avenel, Oliver Johnson, Maggie Nichols, Andrew Cyrille, Bars Phillips, Mark Dresser, Ray Anderson, Henry Rava, Steve Lacy, Dewey Redman. Founds in 1885 the group of percussion "Moon on the Water" with David Searcy and Jonathan Scully, with which you/he/she has engraved three albums till now, the second of which, `Mr. Doubles ', sees the share of the ex Police Stewart Copeland.
From 1989 it belongs to the "Jazz Chromatic Ensemble" with Angiolo Tarocchi, Daniel Cavallanti, Umberto Petrin, Laurel Red etc. and, from 1990, of the Italian Unstable Orchestra, with which you/he/she has played in the most greater European festivals (Shores de Gier, Monk, Moers, Mulhouse, Zurich, Nevers, Her Mans, Grenoble, Chambery, Vilshofen, Saalfelden, Colony, Berlin, Oporto, Sant'Anna Arresi) and you/he/she has engraved for the German label ECM. In 1991 he has been called to make part of the first edition of the Great National Orchestra of Jazz directed by George Gaslini as percussion; currently it also makes part some quartet of Daniel Cavallanti and the trio of Umberto Petrin. It composes the music for the middle film "Ketchup" of Charles Sigon, winning of the prize "Aiace" to the Show of the Cinema in Venice 1995. It realizes in the same year, with the group Nexus, the sonorous column of the mute film "The man with the taking car" of Dziga Vertov (1929), recorded job during 1997. In 1996 it realizes different important incisions: `Udu Calls", duo with the companion of adventures musical Daniel Cavallanti and `Wirr Warr in trio with Umberto Petrin.
It records besides, to his name, a double cd devoted to the figure of Don Cherry, the first homage to the great musician to international level, together with some among the best Italian musicians and of the trumpet player of New York Herb Robertson, already collaborator of Tim Bere of it, Charlie Haden, Anthony Braxton and others. `Awake Nu results good disk in the annual referendum to work of the magazine Music Jazz. In May 1997 it records `Coltrane Infinity Train ', a tribute to Coltrane with the group "The Society Of Freely Syncopated Organic Pulses", commissioned and produced by RadioRai 3 Audioboxes and Music Jazz. It forms in 1997 the Multiphonics Tuba Trio with Renato Geremia and Michel Godard, with which it records the cd `Three Things and that it is about to produce a record by-work, and it becomes member of the trio "Mr. C" of Joe Caruso, with which it engraves and it plays in concert. It publishes in 1998 with Nexus the sixth record job, this time in form of double cd, from the title `We Still Have Visions ', container the definitive version for sextet of the composed music for the film "The man with the taking car" of Vertov. He works for a 1999 consistent part to the realization of his/her more ambitious project, a homage to the music and the figure of Rahsaan Roland Kirk: the result is constituted by the triple cd `We Did It, We Did It (Rahsaan & Ninth the). The last projects have been the re-reading of the album `Out To Lunch! of Eric Dolphy, commissioned by the Festival "Á. the confinements between Sardinia and jazz" and introduced to the XIX Edition (2004) and a job on Ornette Coleman. In his long didactic activity, he is characterized for the ability to move to the students his availability and mental opening towards the artistic experience, agreement in his totality and complexity.
