Vic Stevens
Vic Stevens has been a professional drummer for more than 26 years. In addition to extensive live performances and recording sessions, Vic has engineered and produced records at his own studio (Giant Steps Recording) for 11 years. Vic has also performed in the Atlantic City casinos for 15 years where he was the musical director for the Tropicana hit show "Latin Fever" for 18 months. He than went to NYC with the show, where it ran Off-Broadway for 6 months.
Throughout his career, Vic has performed live and/or on recordings with Dave Fiuczynski, Allan Holdsworth, Scott McGill, David Torn, Gongzilla, bass greats Marc Johnson, Percy Jones, Michael Manring, percussion legends Louie Balzo and Jose Madera. Vic has also recorded for Maria Muldur, David Clayton Thomas, A Triggering Myth, Helen Reddy, Bobby Rydel, Miles Jaye, Tony Desare and Bobbi Eakes. In addtion to numerous recordings, Vic has also released two of his own solo projects, which showcase his writing and producing abilities. His improvisational skills are highlighted on recordings with his ongoing collaboration with Michael Manring and Scott McGill (Mcgill, Manring, Stevens).

Vic's unique style has provided bands and artists with a wide variety of sonic colors to draw from. He credits his past teachers, Kenwood Dennard, Frankie Malabe, Roberta Petacia, Joe Morello, Barry Altschul, Peter Erskine, and Lenny White, with his ability to adapt to many different styles.
Vic has been a long time endorser of Sonor drums and Istanbul cymbals.

Vic currently lives between Colorado and Los Angeles where he is doing sessions and writing for future projects.
