Rich Redmond Rich Redmond is a top call recording drummer/percussionist based in Nashville, Tennessee. His versatile, dynamic, musical and rock solid drumming is the sound behind many of today's top talents. Rich has toured and/or recorded with Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Susan Ashton, Lee Brice, Jim Brickman, Catherine Britt, Brittonjack, Brolle, Deana Carter, Crystal Schawanda, Anita Cochran, Amy Dalley, Crossin' Dixon, Amber Dotson, Earl Thomas Conley, The Evinrudes, Andi Griggs, Jedd Hughes, Jewel, Big Kenny, Lalaine, Stan Lynch, Lila Mccann, Malibu Storm, Mindy Mccready, Robbie Nevil, Vaughan Penn, Michael Peterson, The Pointer Sisters, Ronna Reeves, Regina Regina, Tim Rushlow, Jo-El Sonnier, Sparkeldrive, Marty Stuart, Pam Tillis, Mel Tillis, Lane Turner, Gene Watson, Emily West, Hank Williams Iii, Lucy Woodward, Robin Welty and many others.

Rich recently recorded all of the drums and percussion on Jason Aldean's (Broken Bow) debut record which is certified platinum. It produced 3 top ten hits: "Hicktown" (#8), "Amarillo Sky" (#4), "Johnny Cash" (#8) and the #1 single "Why"! The sound of Jason's records are being regarding as a unique new voice in the country landscape. Rich was part of this process since day one; playing countless showcases with Jason and recording all of his publishing demos for Warner Chappell Music. From 2002-2004 Rich was a member of the band Rushlow (Lyric Street) whose top 10 hit, "I Can't Be Your Friend Anymore" is still a re-current favorite on country radio. Rich visited 14 countries while touring with the band, visited every radio station in the U.S. (literally) and experienced all of the trappings of a popular touring act.
Rich frequently records with the world's greatest songwriters like: Greg Barnhill, Keith and Adrienne Follese, Brian Davis, Arlis Albritton, Vicki McGehee, Brett Anderson, John Rich, Cliff Cody, Emily West, Justin Weaver, Chris Cavanaugh, Lindsey Grant, Jim Collins, Jennifer Day, Marv Green, Tom Douglas, Wendell Mobley, Danny Orton, Tim Nichols, Jason Scheff, Anthony Smith, Stephony Smith, Wade Kirby and MANY others.

Rich has appeared on The Academy of Country Music Awards, The Country Music Awards, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Craig Ferguson Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Good Morning America, The CMA Festival (on ABC), Fox and Friends and many others. Rich's grooves are also heard daily on mainstream and satellite radio networks.

Rich attended the University of North Texas where he received a Master's Degree in Music Education and Percussion. While there, he also played drums in the world renowned 1:00 Lab Band under Neil Slater and played percussion in the 2:00 Lab Band under Jim Riggs. Rich performed with Randy Brecker, Lou Marini, Bob Mintzer, Andy Laverne, Frank Mantooth, Tony Campise, Dennis Diblasio, and Bob Becker while attending this world class school. This amazing 'classical' training, combined with Rich's 'street' experience make for a lethal combination in the studio. An intense knowledge of styles and knowing 'what is right for the song', as well as highly developed reading skills and extreme versatility on ALL of the percussion instruments make for a 'one stop shopping' experience for producers, artists, songwriters and bands.
