Peter Magadini

Peter Magadini is a professional drummer and percussionist who has played and toured with many well known artists and musicians. These include: Diana Ross, George Duke, John Heard, Mose Allison, Don Menza, the broadway show "Les Miserables" and the Berkshire Music Festival Orchestra at Tanglewood. In addition Peter has several recordings released internationally, including The Pete Magadini Quintet Night Dreamers on Timeless Records (Holland), the award winning Bones Blues, Don Menza Pete Magadini Live at Claudio's on Sackville Records (Toronto) and finally the compilation of Then to Now on Justin Time Records (Montreal). Peter holds music degrees from both the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (Batchelor's) and the University of Toronto (Masters). His Teacher's have included Don Bothwell, Roy Burns, N.Y. Philharmonic Timpanist Roland Kohloff and the late North Indian tabla master, Mahapurush Misra.
