He also played with various bands, both small combo and big band. Performing for such artists as Don Cornell, the Ink Spots, and Henny Youngmann. He also played with the Waterbury Municipal band, and the Fulton American band.
His involvement with the Waterbury Civic Theater gave him the oppurtunity to play such shows as, West Side Story, Company, Fiddler on the Roof, and Man of LaMancha.
His background in Rudimental drumming won him over 85 awards.Ten years as Connecticut, six years Massachusetts, and 9 years North Eastern states Championships. He was winner of thr Dan English perpetual throphy, for three years. Bill also has been inducted in the New York state Hall of Fame.
He is an Adjudicator, for various Drum corps,and music associations. Member of the Percussive Arts Society, National Drum Association, and National Association of Rudimental Drummers.
Bill is author of various drum publications and method books. 30 Drum solo's, Any time swings, and Double drumming. Also various solo studies. He also manufactures metal practice sticks, for hand development.
Many of his students, are presently playing and teaching. Several have won drum awards.
